Bill Condon Talks Breaking Dawn Soundtrack!

Update: According to @ClosedSetMovies one of the “musically inclined cast members” will be on the movies soundtrack!

I wonder if it'll be Jackson and the 100 Monkeys but, oh Gawd, please let it be Rob!

Everyone has been asking about the Breaking Dawn - Part 1 soundtrack. Bill Condon spoke with MTV at Comic-Con and gave them some answers.

I LOVE what he says about the BD soundtrack. The Twilight soundtrack was my favorite. I liked the other ones, but Twilight was the best IMO. Which cast member do you think Bill is referring to?

MTV News caught up with Condon at 2011 San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the final two installments of the franchise, and he told us that both movies, but particularly "Part 1," will hearken back to Catherine Hardwicke's 2008 "Twilight" flick, which started the onscreen phenomenon.

"I always thought of 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' as a real companion piece to Catherine Hardwicke's movie," Condon explained. "Like, everything that got set up there gets resolved here. I think you'll find that there are stylistic and other nods to that film."

Fans will also be excited to learn that some of the same principles will apply to the highly anticipated "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" soundtrack. Condon confirmed that Carter Burwell, who scored the first movie, will be back for "Part 1," which means familiar themes like "Bella's Lullaby" will be in play again for the first time since "Twilight" first hit theaters.

With negotiations for the soundtrack still under way, though, Condon wouldn't talk too specifically about which songs will be included on the album. But he confirmed that there's a good chance that one of the "Twilight" cast's musically-inclined stars will appear on the soundtrack.

We'll leave it up to fans to guess whether that means Robert Pattinson, Jackson
Rathbone, Booboo Stewart or one of the other musical castmembers.

"We're just figuring out [the soundtrack] now," Condon said during MTV News' "Breaking Dawn" Comic-Con takeover, adding that they haven't made deals with all of the featured artists yet. "We have a lot of [songs]. We have like 15, I think."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will hit Comic-Con this Thursday, and while Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and director Bill Condon are rumored to be on board for the panel, The Hollywood Reporter confirms that four other cast members will be involved in the madness from miles away.

Jackson might be my favourite way to brighten any Monday :) and his new movie Live at the Foxes Den might be the source of many smiley weeks in the office:

A corporate lawyer reconsiders his career options after making friends with the staff and regulars at a local cocktail lounge called The Foxes Den.

There's a fan fic in there somewhere... *day dreams*

"LIVE AT THE FOXES DEN" is a feature film directed by Michael Kristoff from the screenplay by Jack Holmes & Michael Kristoff. The Executive Producers on the project are Kevin Mann, Peer Pedersen and Matthew Perniciaro. The Film's producers are Adams Gibbs and Roger Pugliese. Principal photography began in May 2011 and will commence in late June 2011.

The film stars Jackson Rathbone ("Twilight"), Jocelin Donahue ("House of the Devil") and Jack Holmes (Off-Broadway "RFK"). Could 100 Monkeys Be On The Breaking Dawn Soundtrack

Jackson Rathbone spoke with MTV after the Movie Awards. He was asked if his band, 100 Monkeys, might be on the "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack. Jackson replied "It could happen. It could happen," he said. "It's one of those things, you know. We don't push it. But, hey, if we were approached, we wouldn't say no."

Do y'all think that 100 Monkeys should make an appearance on the BD soundtrack? Is there already a song you have in mind? I definitely think they would have to write a new one.

Jackson Rathbone and 100 Monkeys (Finally) Announce UK Tour Dates!

Get your bananas ready, fellow Brits *deep breath* 100 Monkeys announced UK tour dates - squeee!

The band will be making their way around Europe before finally playing three British shows:

100 Monkeys – featuring Twilight star Jackson Rathbone – are finally crossing the pond this winter!

After finishing a summer tour in the US and Canada to promote their newest album, Liquid Zoo, which comes out June 28 (distributed by Warrior/Universal), they will be heading eastward to play several show in Europe.

The tour kicks off on November 28 in Sweden and continues into Denmark, working its way through Germany, France, and the Netherlands before touching down in the UK for their first ever shows!

Tickets for 100 Monkey’s UK tour go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, June 1, 2011.

The full UK tour dates are (all December 2011):

12 – Manchester Academy 3
14 – Birmingham Institute, The Temple
15 – London Islington Academy

I'll be back in my home country by then so hope to see you all at the London show :)

Jackson Rathbone Gets More Than a Little Bit Country for New Movie

I am f-loving that Jackson has a Twitter now - the boy's hilarious, on top of gorgeous!

Jackson tweet this pic of his character Justin Wood from the set of his new movie "Cowgirls and Angels", which sounds more than a little like fanfic to me - I have it on the brain ;)

The film isn't yet listed on IMDB so I don't have much more info on who else is cast, etc - looks like Jackson's going back to indie.

Jackson And Ashley Enjoying Time Off.

I was totally tempted to put Alice and Jasper, FYI. Ashley and Jackson were out and about in Vancouver today. Apparently they had a little lunch together, too. It is obviously none of my business... But that has never stopped me from putting my opinion in before! I am getting a friends with benefits vibe from them. Which is good, I guess. The only person who wouldn't run to a magazine would be someone else in the same situation, right? Speculate away-AshesPs-Jackson looks mmm mmm goood! ;)

Breaking Dawn Cast Heads Back To L.A.

PAP PIC WARNING!

Some of the Breaking Dawn cast just happened to be photographed in various airports. Some were leaving Vancouver while others were arriving in L.A. I cannot believe that filming is thisclose to be completely over. I am hoping so Isle Esme re shoots in Florida are in the future. I am ready to peacefully and non-stalkerish set stalk! --Ashes ;) P.S.- I put up pics with the everyone smiling! I did not post the pictures of Nikki Reed... It was quite clear she did not want to be photographed.

Jackson Rathbone Hosting Live Video Chat with Fans for New Movie "Girlfriend"

The official Girlfriend movie site has announced that Jackson will be hosting a live video chat Sunday April 3rd.

I'm not entirely clear on how this works, but here's the information posted:

Scheduled chat time information will be e-mailed to you one week prior to chat. Log in information will be e-mailed to you two hours prior to chat.

The room will open one hour prior to the chat beginning, allowing participants time to get logged in, get a feel for how the room works and greet the other nine participants.

Headphones must be used by all participants. If headphones are not used, your computer’s microphone will pick up the sound coming from your speakers and you’ll get a lot of feedback screeching…which Jerad, Jackson and the other participants will hear as well. Also, we suggest connecting your computer to your router via wire rather than using a wireless connection, for the best connection.

Once in the chatroom, you will have the option whether you wish people (including Jerad and Jackson) to be able to see you or just hear you. In order to see/hear Jerad, Jackson and anyone else in the room, you must click on their name on the right side of the chatroom. You see/hear as many or as few participants as you desire. There will be two moderators in the room: the TechModerator and the ChatModerator. The TechMod is available to assist with issues that arise with the room itself. The ChatMod will ensure that the room remains orderly.

Each participant will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to Jerad and Jackson and ask *one* question of either Jerad or Jackson, or a single question that they must answer together. The ChatMod will announce whose turn it is to ask their question. Chat with your fellow participants beforehand to decide who would like to ask what question.
Please understand that there are some questions that Jerad and Jackson simply cannot answer. We ask that all participants conduct themselves in a respectful manner.
